The Challenge
The hotel's industrial laundry facility relied on a BOGE C7.5L rotary screw compressor with a Keltec KRAD-40 dryer and C-Aire tank for pressing equipment and general maintenance. Electricians had previously rewired the motor from 230V to 460V but failed to rewire the transformer, causing fuses to trip repeatedly. The system also required quiet operation due to proximity to guest areas.
The Solution
Diagnosed and corrected the transformer wiring issue left by the previous electricians — rewired the transformer to match the 460V motor conversion and replaced the blown fuses. Performed full quarterly maintenance: blew out the cooler and unit, replaced the thermal valve and sensor, changed oil, replaced oil filter, air filter, and Tsunami separator filter. Changed the scavenge line screen and verified flow through the stone. Serviced the solenoid, cleaned and re-lubed the inlet and minimum pressure valve, and wiped down the unit.
