BOGE C7.5L Rotary Screw Air Compressor
Annual preventative maintenance and major pump replacement on a two-unit fire protection compressor system — a 1993 C-Aire S175 baseplate unit and a C-Aire S750 horizontal unit — for a senior living facility's dry-pipe fire sprinkler system.

The facility's dry-pipe fire sprinkler system depended on two fire protection compressors, including a 1993 C-Aire S175 baseplate unit that had been in continuous operation for 29 years. The original pump on the baseplate unit had reached end of life and required a full replacement. The facility expanded in 2019 with additional sprinkler coverage, adding the C-Aire S750 horizontal unit, and both compressors required strict code-compliant maintenance for resident safety.
Installed a new pump on the 29-year-old baseplate unit, replacing the original that had served reliably since 1993. Installed a new belt and adjusted motor pulley depth and motor position for correct alignment and tension. Rewired the pressure switch for the new pump. Changed oil, air filters, and oil filters on both units. Inspected all electrical components across the system.
Both fire protection compressors fully operational and code-compliant. The 1993 baseplate unit restored to full performance with its new pump, and the 2019 S750 unit maintaining pressure for the expanded sprinkler coverage. 100% uptime and passing inspections.
